Finance Analyst – Operations & Logistics (ANZ Region)
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and highly analytical Finance Analyst to support our Manufacturing and Operations finance team for the ANZ (Australia & New Zealand) region.
In this role, you will go beyond procedural processing, serving as a key analytical partner in plant reporting, operational spend, and supply chain finance. You will work directly with regional leadership to spot data anomalies, perform variance analyses, and drive efficiency across regional operations.
Qualifications- MUST HAVE direct experience in Logistics, Freight Costing, Supply Chain Finance, or Distribution Center (DC) cost-to-serve analysis.
- Hands-on proficiency with SAP or equivalent ERP systems in an operational or financial setup.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related business course is preferred.
- Proven experience communicating and presenting financial insights to international stakeholders (APAC, ANZ, or global markets).
- Supply Chain & Freight Costing: Analyze logistics costs, freight spend, distribution center (DC) metrics, and warehousing cost-to-serve to drive operational efficiency.
- Variance & Operational Analysis: Conduct month-end operational variance analysis, monitor operational trends, and proactively highlight financial risks or anomalies.
- Plant & Operations Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive operational finance reports to support APAC/ANZ regional decision-making.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Partner with team leads to streamline reporting workflows using advanced spreadsheet tools and business intelligence platforms.
- Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Collaborate regularly with international business partners, operations leads, and regional finance heads across Australia and New Zealand.
