IT Manager

BRIEF DESCIRPTION

The IT Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and management of the organization’s IT systems and infrastructure. The role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations that support business objectives, leads the IT team, manages vendors, and drives continuous improvement in technology and processes.

• Oversee and manage daily IT operations, systems, infrastructure, and user support.
• Develop, implement, and maintain IT strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure the security, availability, and reliability of IT systems, including data protection and disaster recovery.
• Lead, coach, and manage the IT team to ensure efficient service delivery and continuous improvement.
• Plan, manage, and monitor IT projects, budgets, assets, and vendor performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide effective technology solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5–8 years of relevant IT experience, including at least 3-5 years in a managerial role
• Hands-on experience in IT operations, systems administration, and information security
• Exposure to cloud platforms, business applications, and IT service management frameworks
• Relevant certifications (ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or cloud certifications) are an advantage
• Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and cybersecurity
• Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
• Ability to manage vendors, budgets, and multiple stakeholders
• Strategic mindset with focus on efficiency, risk management, and continuous improvement
