The Junior developer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining SBI’s in house systems, with focus on building a centralized web portal for operations, reporting and analytics.
The role covers full-stack development, including backend, database, and frontend, as well as automated report generation and analytics. The developer will translate business requirements into scalable and efficient systems solutions.
Key Responsibilities- In-House System & Web Portal Development
- Develop and implement SBI’s centralized web portal and internal systems.
- Develop modules for departments (sales, inventory, audit and finance).
- Full-Stack Development
- Develop backend logic, API connection
- Create responsive frontend interfaces for web-based applications
- Ensure seamless communication between frontend, backend and database warehouse
- Reports Automation & Analytics
- Develop automated reporting tools (daily, weekly monthly & yearly reports)
- Automate report generation to reduce manual workload
- Build dashboards and analytics features for future need
- Database Design & Management
- Design and maintain structured databases for transactional and analytical data
- Optimize queries and ensure data accuracy, integrity and performance
- Support data extraction and transformation for reporting purposes
- System Integration
- Integrate the web portal with existing system:
- Retail PRO Prism
- Develop APIs or middleware for data synchronization and process automation
- Mobile Application
- Development or integration of mobile applications connected to the web portal
- System Maintenance & Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, errors and web portal issues
- Ensure system reliability, security and uptime
- Perform regular updates, enhancements and performance tuning
- Documentation
- Document system architecture, development processes and user guidelines
- Graduate of any 4-year Course Preferably B.S Computer Science, B.S. in Information Technology or related field with computer applications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in programming and system development
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL and Python
- Experience in full-stack web development
- Strong understanding of relational databases
- Experience in API development and system integration
- Familiarity with analytics, reporting tools or dashboard development
- Experience with Retail Pro Prism & Microsoft Navision is an advantage
- Background in retail systems or ERP environment is preferred
- Knowledge of mobile application development (Android/IOS or across platform frameworks) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage end to end development
- High attention to detail particularly in data accuracy in reporting
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Must be willing to work on-site in Paranaque West Service Road.
