Manager, Planning, Cost & Methods

What you will be doing:

• Works closely and coordinates Planning, Cost & Methods Team activities to the Engineering Head.
• Leads the Planning, Cost & Methods in providing innovative solutions needed for the Project.
• Oversee all approved planning, cost and methods technical services for Projects under Project Development, Project Execution and O&M Department.
• Tracks the Planning, Cost & Methods Team schedule of activities to ensure that deadlines are met and goals accomplished.
• Provides crucial input during the preparation of Design Criteria, Employer Requirements, engineering drawings, and tender documents.
• Ensures that the Planning, Cost & Methods calculations and output for Projects are accurate and within the minimum quality requirements established by the PMO.

What you need to be great in this role:

Educational Attainment:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, or related field)
2. Master's Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or Business Management is an advantage
3. Experience in an energy-related industry is required

Licensure: PRC Engineer

Experience: Minimum 8-12 years of experience in project planning, cost engineering, or project controls. At least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role

Special Courses/Trainings:

1. Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
2. Training in cost engineering, budgeting, and financial forecasting
3. Knowledge of methods engineering, process optimization, and project control systems

Functional/Technical Skills:

1. Strong expertise in project scheduling, critical path analysis, and resource leveling
2. Ability to develop and manage project budgets, cost baselines, and cash flow forecasts
3. Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) and project performance reporting
4. Knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and productivity analysis
5. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel advanced, Power BI, or similar)
6. Familiarity with EPC project environments and multidisciplinary coordination
