JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Manager is responsible for developing and managing detailed project plans, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project execution. It includes overseeing construction activities, maintaining quality control, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.The position requires proactive risk management and implementation of contingency plans to address potential disruptions.
Additionally, it focuses on optimizing operational processes, managing resources and budgets, and leading teams to achieve high performance.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination- Develop comprehensive project plans detailing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project execution aligns with plans and specifications.
- Oversee site layout and ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Supervise construction activities and coordinate timely delivery of materials and equipment to the site.
- Maintain and enforce quality control procedures to ensure construction meets required specifications and standards.
- Implement corrective actions proactively to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Risk Management and Contingency Planning
- Identify and assess potential project risks such as weather delays, material shortages, and safety hazards.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate and address unexpected events effectively.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization to streamline workflows and reduce operational costs.
- Oversee allocation and management of manpower, equipment, and materials to optimize operational effectiveness.
- Monitor operational expenses and implement cost control measures without compromising quality.
- Manage, train, and mentor operational teams to sustain high performance and morale.
- Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational efficiency.
- Generate regular reports to inform management and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Sales, and other departments to align operational goals with broader business objectives.
- Address operational challenges and resolve conflicts promptly.
- Implement effective solutions to prevent operational disruptions.
- Ensure service quality and operational excellence to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Enhance client relationships through consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in construction.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in project management and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- With experience working in the DPWH
