Job Description:

  • Monitor and record daily cash and charge sales transactions.
  • Maintain and update the company’s books of accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Track and monitor all cash collections and ensure proper documentation.
  • Prepare and deposit collections to the bank in a timely manner.
  • Issue official receipts and ensure proper recording of all payments received.
  • Perform bank-related transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and coordination with bank personnel.
  • Encode and record miscellaneous expenses and ensure proper supporting documents are attached.
  • Assist in basic accounts reconciliation and reporting as needed.
  • Support purchasing activities, including canvassing of suppliers and price comparison.
  • Coordinate with clients and assist in identifying potential customers when necessary.
  • Maintain organized filing of financial documents and records for easy retrieval.
  • Assist in other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Willing to do fieldwork such as bank transactions and supplier canvassing.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Applicant must be willing to start as soon as possible.
