Accounting Bookkeeper
About the role
City Savings Bank is seeking an experienced Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of the bank, ensuring accurate and efficient bookkeeping practices.
What you'll be doing- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and bill payments
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
- Collaborate with the accounting team to identify process improvements and implement best practices
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
