PURCHASING STAFF

Job Summary

The Purchasing Staff is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, supplies, and services needed by the company. This role ensures timely delivery of quality products at competitive prices while maintaining accurate records and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement process: Source and purchase materials, supplies, and equipment based on company requirements.
Supplier management: Evaluate, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
Inventory coordination: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Documentation: Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement-related documents accurately.
Compliance: Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, budget limits, and legal requirements.
Reporting: Maintain updated records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance for management review.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
At least 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with purchasing systems.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
