Architect - Construction Project Manager (Davao)
About The Role
As a Project Manager, you will supervise and monitor the on-time completion of renovation and/or construction of Head Office units and Branches in accordance to the approved design/ lay-out and standards of the Bank.
How you’ll contribute- Monitors and coordinates approval of plans from the management and the lessor detailing, editing, improving the lay-out and details using Auto Cadd Drawings to be able to have an accurate design lay-out prior to construction implementation
- Conducts pre-bidding conference and meetings with General Contractors, Suppliers and other trades involved in construction using the Bank's standard procedure and injecting latest construction methods to achieve completeness of bids and construction documents necessary for the implementation of the project
- Ensures completeness of construction by filing/submitting the documents to the right recipient securing internal files and submitting files to external parties involved in construction to be used for maintenance purposes and annual inspection documents for Property Management Department (PMD)
- Cross Functions with Building Admin and Maintenance Department to cover for related works in the vicinity of the hub where he/she is assigned at
- Reviews and evaluates construction progress based on the progress accomplishment to be able to ensure that payment is aligned with progress of works
- Conducts and monitors punchlists and completion of implementation including turn-over of the project by actual inspection and quality checking of materials installed and workmanship applied by the contractors and suppliers to ensure that construction is delivered according to the standard quality set by the Bank
- Other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and/or project management
- Knowledgeable with quantity surveying and quality assurance
- Must be amenable to work onsite
- Must be based in Davao
