Assistant general manager

Job Description

• Assist the General Manager to manage the entire factory operations and ensure that factory is running profitably.
• Coordinate with the admin and merchandising team in Taiwan office thru mandarin language and local team for future orders, existing order status, and product costing and to discuss capacity status of the factory.
• Responsible for the preparation of management reports, observation of the operation of the factory and disciplining of subordinates.
• Handle the production and office issues and when required he can contact Taiwan office for approval of variations.
• Review the production plan submitted by the Chief Supervisors or Production Manager.
• Communicate with Board Members directly when need in any issues of the garments factory.
• Coordinate to all departments for smooth garments manufacturing.
• Guide local employees in using the Chinese character Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Performs other duties that maybe assigned by the immediate superiors from time to time.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a related field, relevant experience in management with strong knowledge, leadership skills, communication, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Several years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the same or a related industry, are crucial.
• Understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and performance metrics is often required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Speak and write mandarin Chinese language
• At least 5 years work experience as Assistant General Manager
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in relevant software are often expected.
