Job Position: President and Plant Director
Job Description:- To serve as the Head of the company in the country and perform roles / responsibilities as a member of the board.
- To lead the plant operations management team, working with related functional leaders to fulfill targets in terms of cost, quality, delivery, productivity and people competence. Drive the team to be more competitive to continuously grow the business.
- Responsible for all legal and statutory related obligations of the company.
- Perform defined responsibilities as member of the board.
- Responsible for the site’s profit and loss.
- Define and monitor the overall operations’ key performance indicators, operational metrics, budget, and financial performance.
- Participate in generating business & product strategy supportive of the overall objective of the company.
- Ensure the plant fully meets and supports Molex customers' needs.
- Drive the PBM culture, quality mindset and continuous cost improvement to sustain competitiveness and profitable growth.
- Provide overall managerial leadership in developing and retaining talents that will help employees self-actualize, and result in mutually beneficial relationships; ensure a healthy succession management bench.
- Lead the organization in defining the standards and ensure compliance to the Quality Management System, and various audits (ISO, IATF, RBA, ISMS, etc.).
Qualifications/Requirements
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
- Have above 10 years relevant working experience and managerial capacity in operations management.
- Rich experience in Production management, Manufacturing Engineering management and other operations related management functions.
- Experienced P& L ownership in manufacturing field
- Experience in industries equivalent or related to Molex’ business.
- Experience in managing overall operations of a multinational company with more than 3000 employees
REQUIRED:
- Strong capacity to plan, prioritize and implement with a strategic approach
- Proven success in driving the overall plant KPI continuous improvement
- Proven capacity to build a contribution motivated team and interacts as a constructive team player in multicultural environment
- Strong business acumen with economic thinking and decision-making
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and possibly local language
- Proven skills in conflict management, problem solving and management of change
- Familiar with related laws and regulations
- Familiar with supply chain management
- Familiar with automotive industry requirements for tier 1 supplier
