About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper & Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of a growing international business. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong bookkeeping expertise, management reporting experience, and the ability to handle multiple entities while maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business decisions through financial analysis, reporting, and process improvements.

• Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records across multiple business entities.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare forecasts, and assist with budgeting.
• Process payroll and ensure accurate recording of employee-related transactions.
• Prepare VAT/GST and other statutory reports while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
• Manage supplier payments, customer invoicing, and expense reimbursements.
• Support inventory and cost tracking for retail and eCommerce operations.
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting, and internal controls.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all finance-related tasks.

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Experience managing multi-company or multi-entity financial records is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, Sage, or similar ERP/accounting platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting eCommerce, retail, or multi-location businesses is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
