Sales & marketing assistant

Job Description

• Product Promotion: Educating farmers and retailers on pesticide product features, benefits, and proper usage through demonstrations, training sessions, and direct communication.
• Sales & Target Achievement: Executing sales campaigns and strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Market Development: Identifying key target segments, developing new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and influencers.
• Customer Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with farmers and agri-dealers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Market Analysis: Monitoring sales performance, analyzing market trends, understanding competitor activities, and providing market feedback to management.
• Stock Management: Working with the trade to ensure timely availability and stock liquidation in the sales channel

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or any related field
• With experience in sales and marketing, preferably in agricultural products (pesticides, fertilizers, or crop protection)
• Knowledgeable in crop production and farming practices
• Willing to travel and work in the field to engage with farmers and distributors
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and customer service skills
