About the role
We are looking for a talented and motivated Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. This part-time position will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance the company's online presence and engagement across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities- Manage and respond to customer inquiries through the Handyman Can Help website, AI and digital channels.
- Create and edit images and videos, including YouTube Shorts, and content for Instagram, Facebook, and Google platforms.
- Prepare and distribute press releases, ensuring successful placement on platforms specified by the company.
- Manage and maintain social media accounts, including posting regular updates and responding to direct messages and comments.
- Plan and execute email and SMS marketing campaigns for repeat and existing customers.
- Assist with Google Business Profile updates, reputation management, and responding to customer reviews.
- Utilize AI tools for content writing, optimization, and content syndication.
- Support overall digital marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and lead generation.
- Use Metricool or similar social media management and analytics tools (preferred).
- Manage and optimize social media syndication and scheduling software.
- Monitor performance metrics and ensure engagement, reach, and follower growth targets are achieved.
