About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Network DC (Network & Security Engineer) to join our team on a 13-month contract engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VMware NSX and Distributed Firewall (DFW), supported by extensive experience in enterprise Routing & Switching environments.
This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure and scalable network infrastructure solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical network and security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure solutions.
- Manage and troubleshoot Routing & Switching environments across:
- Cisco Catalyst
- Dell Networking
- Cisco Nexus
- Configure and maintain VMware NSX environments, including:
- Distributed Firewall (DFW) policies
- Firewall management and security configurations
- Support wireless network implementation and ensure optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver network and security solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Assist in network optimization, incident resolution, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations related to DNS and SD-WAN technologies.
- Ensure infrastructure reliability, performance, and adherence to security standards.

- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Routing & Switching at an expert level.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Cisco Catalyst
- Dell Networking
- Cisco Nexus
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on implementation experience in:
- VMware NSX
- Distributed Firewall (DFW)
- Firewall technologies
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in wireless network implementation and support.
- Exposure to DNS and SD-WAN concepts and architecture.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
