Position Summary
The Payroll Officer is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. This includes reviewing attendance and timekeeping records, calculating salaries and statutory deductions, maintaining payroll records, and assisting in the administration of compensation and benefits.The role ensures compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and company policies while providing excellent support to employees on payroll-related concerns.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field.
- At least three (3) years of experience in payroll processing, compensation and benefits, or other Human Resources functions.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Specialist, Payroll Clerk, or in a similar role handling both manual and automated payroll systems.
- Hands-on experience using HRIS, payroll, and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, accounting principles, and Philippine labor laws, including statutory contributions and deductions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet payroll deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with a team.

- Review, validate, and maintain employees' Daily Time Records (DTR) and attendance records.
- Prepare and process accurate bi-monthly payroll within the prescribed timeline.
- Compute salaries, overtime, holiday pay, leave pay, allowances, incentives, and other payroll-related earnings.
- Ensure the accuracy of payroll computations, including statutory and company-authorized deductions.
- Prepare payroll reports, discrepancy reports, and other payroll-related documentation.
- Maintain complete and confidential payroll records.
- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related concerns and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor updates from DOLE, NWPC, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR to ensure payroll compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist the Compensation and Benefits team in implementing employee benefits and other HR-related initiatives.
- Support payroll audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
- Perform other payroll and HR-related duties as may be assigned.
