Sales Manager in Catering

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in the food catering industry to drive business growth, develop client relationships, and achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and leading sales initiatives to expand the company's catering services across corporate, social, and special events.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase catering bookings and revenue.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, and key decision-makers.
• Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and account management.
• Prepare and present catering proposals, quotations, and service packages tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with operations and kitchen teams to ensure successful event execution and client satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports for management review.
• Attend client meetings, industry events, and networking activities to promote the company's services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 5–8 years of sales experience in FMCG or consumer goods industry.
• At least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of retail distribution, trade marketing, and channel management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
