Assistant Accountant | Accountant | Supervisor | Fixed Assets | General Ledger

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. The successful candidate will support Fixed Assets Accounting, General Ledger activities, month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, audit requirements, and internal control compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze fixed asset transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Process asset acquisitions, transfers, retirements, disposals, and depreciation-related transactions.
• Maintain accurate fixed asset records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare fixed asset schedules, reconciliations, and monthly reports.
• Ensure all fixed asset transactions are properly recorded within established timelines.

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and supporting schedules.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate outstanding reconciling items.
• Assist in preparing monthly P&L analysis and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure all accounting activities are completed accurately and within global reporting deadlines.

• Support internal and external audit requirements through timely preparation of schedules and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls, accounting policies, and internal control requirements.
• Maintain complete and organized accounting records for audit trail purposes.
• Monitor accounting transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Intercompany, Treasury, and other Finance teams to resolve accounting issues.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to validate transactions and understand business requirements.
• Support finance transformation, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc accounting assignments as required.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

✅ Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy

⚠️ Strict Requirement: Only BS Accountancy graduates will be considered.

✅ 3 - 9 years of combined experience in:

General Accounting

Fixed Assets Accounting

Accounts Payable

Audit

✅ Hands-on experience in:

Fixed Assets Accounting

General Ledger Accounting

Journal Entries

Accruals

Account Reconciliations

Month-End Close

✅ Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls

✅ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

✅ Strong written and verbal English communication skills

✅ Experience using accounting software or ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Experience supporting multinational or shared services organizations

Hands-on experience with:

1. Oracle Fusion
2. SAP Ariba
3. ERP Accounting Systems

Automated Expense Management Tools

Exposure to SOX controls, audit support, and process improvement initiatives
