JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the day-to-day management and achievement of the sales of a department including its customer service, shrinkage and security control, merchandise display and product knowledge, housekeeping, business analysis, and policies and reports.

1. SALES

• Achieves sales target in a specified period of time.
• Ensures proper maintenance of merchandise based on standards.
• Ensures that excellent customer service is rendered by the department at all times.
• Ensures that quality products are displayed in the department.
• Ensures that the department observes good housekeeping at all times and maintains the clean and fresh standards.
• Implements promotional activities and evaluates its impact to department sales.
• Gathers, analyzes, and develops customer service initiatives to address customer feedback and concerns.

1. MERCHANDISING

• Ensures 100% Customer Service Level (CSL) on the selling floor.
• Monitors and coordinates with suppliers regarding status of deliveries.
• Ensures the efficient monitoring and analysis of stocks replenishment details.

1. OPERATIONS

• Maintains proper handling of merchandise to avoid shrinkage and pilferage.
• Suggests projects and activities that will help generate or improve sales of the department.
• Rechecks prices on items displayed in the department. 4. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
• Supervises and ensures the training of all selling personal–inside and outside–on customer service.
• Ensures proper implementation of Offenses Subject to Disciplinary Action (OSDA) and company rules to all direct reports.

1. REPORTORIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prepares the following reports:
• CSL Report (top 500 Stock Keeping Units).
• Sales Analysis of the Department (Based on Business Review Requirements).
• Analysis of Category Promo Implemented in the Department.
• Summary of Manpower Attendance with Overtime.

• Performs other functions as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
