About the role
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Biomedical Technician/Engineer to join EC Zuric Biotherapies Inc in Davao City, Davao del Sur.
This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in supporting our biomedical equipment and systems operations.
As a Biomedical Technician/Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical and laboratory equipment.
Key responsibilities- Install and commission medical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures.
- Ensure equipment complies with safety standards.
- Train healthcare staff on proper equipment use.
- Maintain service and maintenance records.
- Analyze clinical needs and propose engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and manufacturers.
- Manage projects involving healthcare technology implementation.
- Graduate of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; or Diploma in Electronics, or a related field
- Proven experience in biomedical equipment maintenance, repair, or installation (minimum 1-2 years preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, particularly as they apply to medical devices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
