Project Manager

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives — coordinating across vendors, technical teams, and stakeholders.

• Manage full project lifecycle for Unified Communications and Telephony deployments, including voice infrastructure rollouts, contact center platform implementations, and related network upgrades.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scheduling, resource allocation, risk tracking, and milestone reporting.
• Coordinate with multiple vendors and third-party service providers to ensure timely delivery of hardware, software, and services.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and go-live of networking equipment involved in UC environments — including switches, routers, gateways, firewalls, access points, and load balancers
• Manage both the physical layer (structured cabling, device installation) and the logical layer (software configuration, monitoring tool setup) of communications infrastructure.
• Track project progress against baseline plans and proactively flag risks, issues, or scope changes to relevant stakeholders
• Facilitate regular project status meetings, prepare reports, and maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support deployment activities across various site types including data centers, manufacturing facilities, and new office locations.
• Ensure project closure activities are completed, including handover documentation, post-implementation reviews, and lessons-learned capture.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT infrastructure or telecommunications environments.
• Demonstrated hands-on knowledge of Unified Communications systems, Telephony infrastructure, and/or Voice over IP (VoIP) deployments.
• Practical experience with contact center platforms — including but not limited to enterprise telephony solutions such as Avaya or cloud-based platforms such as Five9
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and devices relevant to UC environments (e.g., switches, routers, firewalls, gateways, access points, leased lines, modems, load balancers).
• Experience managing multi-vendor projects and coordinating cross-functional delivery teams.
• Strong project scheduling and tracking skills, with experience using standard project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to manage projects across multiple site types simultaneously (e.g., data centers, production/manufacturing sites, office builds)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — both written and verbal.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with shifting priorities.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience working within managed services or system integrator environments.
• Familiarity with both physical and logical infrastructure management, including cabling standards and network monitoring tools.
• Background in supporting contact center transformation or telephony modernization projects.
