The Front Office Associate is responsible for delivering excellent guest service by managing check-in and check-out, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries at Yello Hotel. The role ensures a smooth, welcoming guest experience while maintaining efficient front office operations and upholding hotel service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services & Reception
  • Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist throughout their stay.
  • Handle check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns.
Reservations & Room Management
  • Manage room reservations via phone, email, and booking systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest bookings.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments regarding room status.
  • Support efforts to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.
Front Desk Operations
  • Operate front office systems and ensure accurate guest data entry.
  • Process payments, billing, and cashiering transactions as required.
  • Prepare daily reports, shift endorsements, and occupancy updates.
  • Maintain organized records and proper documentation.
Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments for guest needs.
  • Relay guest concerns and operational issues to supervisors promptly.
  • Ensure smooth communication flow across hotel departments.
Customer Experience & Service Excellence
  • Deliver high-quality service to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Handle complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
  • Promote hotel services and assist in upselling when appropriate.
Compliance & Standards
  • Follow hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the front desk area.
Qualifications
  • Must be a college graduate (Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, or related field preferred).
  • Previous experience in hotel front office or customer service is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in computer systems and booking platforms is a plus.
  • Professional appearance and strong customer service orientation.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
