Production Supervisor

About the role

This full-time position is responsible for leading a team of production staff and ensuring our high standards of quality and productivity are maintained.

1. Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the production team to meet operational targets and deadlines
2. Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and safety
3. Provide hands-on training and development to production staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning
4. Ensure all production activities adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
5. Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Maintenance, to resolve issues and optimize production
6. Generate and analyze performance reports, identifying KPIs and implementing corrective actions as needed
7. Foster a positive, teamwork-oriented work environment and provide constructive feedback to production staff

1. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the food manufacturing or Pharmaceutical industry
2. Graduate of Industrial Engineering or other related engineering courses
3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and implement solutions
4. Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve operational goals
5. Candidates may have either formal Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles, with both qualifications being acceptable.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
7. Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, with a keen eye for detail and process improvement
