The Sales Officer/ Sales Engineer – Solar & Renewable Energy is responsible for driving sales growth by providing expert technical advice and support to clients. This role bridges the gap between complex solar solutions and client needs, offering customized energy solutions involving solar panels, inverters, energy storage systems, RSDs, and mounting structures.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of solar energy technologies, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in technical sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell solar energy products such as solar PV panels, inverters, RSDs, and mounting systems to residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
  • Provide technical expertise during client meetings, presentations, and site visits.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including system designs, quotations, and ROI analyses.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine system compatibility and design parameters.
  • Coordinate with engineering and installation teams to ensure feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide product training, technical support, and after-sales service.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of solar technologies, government regulations, and incentive programs.
  • Attend industry trade shows, events, and client meetings to promote the company's products and services.
  • Assist in preparing tender documents and participate in bidding processes.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, including system sizing, net metering, and performance calculations.
  • Proficient in solar design tools such as PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar software.
  • Knowledge of local and international codes/standards related to solar installation (e.g., NEC, IEC).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel frequently for site visits and client engagements.
  • Willing to work on-site (Makati city)
