About the role
  • Our company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Officer II to join our team at Quezon City office. This position will provide crucial support to our Accounting and Finance Department functions.
What you'll be doing
  • You will be assigned to the Accounting Team and will be reporting to the company President.
  • Will manage the SRAGCircle OPC daily Accounting and Finance requirements. Recording Transactions: Maintaining accurate, systematic records of all financial transactions, such as purchases, sales, and expenses.
  • Accounts Payable (A/P): Managing money owed by the company to suppliers and creditors, ensuring timely payments.
  • Accounts Receivable (A/R): Tracking and collecting money owed to the company by customers for goods or services.
  • Payroll Management: Calculating employee salaries, wages, bonuses, deductions, and tax withholdings accurately.
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing essential financial statements like the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement to reflect company performance.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Creating financial plans and projecting future income and expenses to guide business strategy.
  • Tax Compliance and Planning: Calculating and filing taxes (income, sales, property) to ensure adherence to legal regulations and avoid penalties.
  • Auditing and Internal Controls: Reviewing financial records for accuracy and implementing controls to prevent fraud and theft.
  • Asset Management: Tracking fixed assets, including purchases, depreciation, and disposal.
  • Supporting the broader administrative team with various projects and tasks as needed which may also require traveling outside of National Capital Region
What we're looking for
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Must possess an active PRC license, be of good moral character, and have no final convictions for crimes involving moral turpitude.
  • Active membership and good standing in the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) .
  • Hands on with preparing and analyzing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
  • Strong working knowledge of Philippine taxation rules, including the preparation and filing of VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate income tax returns with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
  • Experience in using accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • With at least 3 years of experience in accounting role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
  • Hands-on with government regulatory compliance and reportorial requirements

Pay Type: 15th-30th
Work Location: Quezon City, Philippines

Workplace Option: Mondays to Fridays, on-site. Saturdays, Half-day work from home or on-site as needed
