Accounting Officer
We are looking for an Accounting Officer who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, solving problems, and contributing to business decisions.
We are hiring across two levels through this one posting. Whether you are building momentum early in your career or you already lead with confidence, we want to hear from you. Candidates will be assessed and placed as either a Junior or Senior Accounting Officer based on demonstrated experience, competencies, and growth potential.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy wearing multiple hats, and want exposure to the full accounting cycle, we'd love to meet you.
Why This Role Is Different
This is not a narrow, single-task position. You will work end to end across disbursements, reconciliation, closing, compliance, and reporting. If you enjoy solving problems, tightening processes, and seeing your work reach the executive table, you will thrive here.
What You Will Do- Monitor and approve check disbursements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, proper
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable regularly, identifying discrepancies and posting adjustments promptly.
- Facilitate month-end closing, coordinating the recording, reconciliation, and reporting of all transactions within deadline.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis for Executive Committee (Execom) review to support informed decisions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements, and support budget preparation, monitoring, and analysis.
- Handle additional reporting and ad hoc finance tasks aligned with organizational priorities
How the Two Levels Differ
We welcome both emerging and experienced talent. The core scope is shared, but expectations scale with your level.
As a Junior Accounting Officer, you will execute core accounting tasks with guidance, build mastery across reconciliation and closing, and grow into greater ownership over time. We are looking for solid fundamentals, accuracy, and a strong appetite to learn.
As a Senior Accounting Officer, you will lead month-end closing, own Execom reporting, drive process improvements, and act as a go-to resource on compliance and analysis. We are looking for sound judgment, independence, and the ability to elevate how the team works.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field
- CPA license is an advantage but not required
- Two to four years of general accounting experience, ideally in an SME or lean finance team where you handled multiple functions end to end.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, AP and AR, bank reconciliation, payroll review, BIR compliance and tax filing, and financial reporting and analysis.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software (preferred)
- Strong Excel skills
- E-commerce accounting background is a plus
What You Will Gain
Real ownership of your work, exposure to leadership and decision-making, room to improve the systems you work within, and a clear path to grow. We invest in people who want to build a long-term career, not just fill a role.
