About the role

We are seeking a Travel Account Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at our Cebu, Central Visayas location. This is a full-time position offering competitive, high-level compensation for the right candidate. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our travel industry clients, delivering exceptional customer service and support.

You will manage customer inquiries, process bookings, resolve complaints and provide expert guidance on travel packages and services. This is a strategic position within our customer service division that directly impacts client satisfaction and retention for our travel sector accounts.

Key responsibilities
  1. Handle inbound customer calls and inquiries relating to travel bookings, itineraries and travel services with professionalism and efficiency
  2. Process travel bookings, amendments and cancellations accurately whilst maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards
  3. Provide comprehensive product knowledge and recommendations to customers regarding travel packages, destinations and services
  4. Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly, escalating complex issues to senior staff when necessary
  5. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions using company systems and databases
  6. Achieve and exceed individual performance targets including call handle time, customer satisfaction ratings and sales conversion metrics
  7. Collaborate with internal teams including reservations, finance and management to ensure seamless customer experiences
  8. Identify opportunities to upsell additional travel services and products to existing customers
  9. Stay current with travel industry trends, promotional offers and company policies to provide accurate information
What we're looking for
  1. Proven experience in a customer service or call centre environment, ideally within the travel, hospitality or tourism sector
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage customers professionally and courteously
  3. Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset and commitment to resolution
  4. Ability to multitask effectively whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  5. Demonstrated capability to meet and exceed performance targets and key performance indicators
  6. Patience, empathy and emotional intelligence when handling difficult customer situations
  7. Flexibility to work scheduled shifts which may include evenings, weekends or holidays depending on business requirements
  8. High school diploma or equivalent qualification as a minimum
  9. Preferred: Previous experience in travel, airline, hotel or tourism customer service
