UK Payroll Executive (Mid shift 3PM/4PM/5PM start time, Onsite at Bridgetowne QC)
Reports To:
Assistant Operations Manager/ Operations Manager
Position Mission:
To support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services for the UK account, ensuring compliance with relevant payroll legislation and regulations. The Payroll Executive plays a key role in providing responsive support to both internal teams and candidates while coordinating with external agencies and authorities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration- Assist in processing payroll for UK-based employees, ensuring accurate calculations for pay, deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with UK payroll regulations including PAYE, National Insurance contributions, pension auto-enrolment, and statutory payments (e.g., SSP, SMP).
- Maintain and update payroll records and employee data in payroll systems.
- Prepare payroll reports and summaries as needed by management.
- Respond to payroll-related queries from candidates, employees, and management in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide clarification on payslips, tax deductions, and statutory entitlements.
- Liaise with external payroll providers and HMRC as needed to resolve issues and ensure accuracy in reporting and submissions.
- Keep abreast of updates to UK payroll legislation and advise the team on any relevant changes or implications.
- Support compliance efforts by ensuring payroll practices align with current laws and internal policies.
Qualifications, Experience & Required Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a UK payroll processing role.
- Familiarity with UK payroll regulations and statutory requirements.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of UK PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and statutory payments.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience liaising with HMRC or third-party payroll providers is a plus.
- High attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software/tools.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear and work on the computer, perform typing work, etc. The employee is occasionally required to stand, and walk move within the office premises for work-related coordination.This role requires the position holder to be 100% in the office at Bridgetowne Quezon City, Philippines with occasional field work to liaise with Government offices, banks and other institutions that the Company transact with.
