Oracle Business Analyst – Finance

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Business Analyst – Finance to support and optimize Oracle ERP Finance solutions. This role focuses on process improvement, system configuration, production support, and global ERP initiatives, while acting as a key liaison between finance stakeholders and technical teams.

• Analyze finance business requirements and recommend process improvements and Oracle ERP solutions
• Provide production support and administration for Oracle Finance modules across assigned regions
• Configure and support Oracle ERP Finance modules, including:
• Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Costing
• Provide Customer Master and Pricing support for Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams
• Gather change requests and reporting requirements; perform feasibility analysis and provide recommendations
• Develop functional design documents, test plans, and support development activities
• Perform regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end‑user training
• Validate and approve Oracle responsibility access in compliance with SOX controls
• Participate in Oracle ERP implementations, upgrades, testing, and training programs
• Support Oracle awareness and training initiatives across regions
• Escalate issues and risks to the Director – Global Business Systems (USA)

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of Finance experience
• 10+ years of Oracle ERP application experience in Finance modules
• Completion of at least 2 full Oracle ERP implementations end‑to‑end as a Business Analyst or Functional Lead
• 5+ years of experience leading production support for enterprise applications
• Strong expertise in Oracle Finance module configuration and setups
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP database architecture and development tools:
• PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Forms, Reports
• Proficient in running SQL scripts for data analysis and validation
• Experience with Oracle Discoverer and BI tools
• Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies
