Job Description

Functions:

JOB SUMMARY:

  • He/she acts as project manager for project activities within ITG scope using Agile or Waterfall methodology to manage the projects and ensure timely end-to-end project

delivery and directs development of the continuous delivery pipeline to improve delivery speed, quality and effort.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs project management responsibilities in either waterfall and agile methodology

Prepares/creates and maintains Project Plan, Work Plan and securing the necessary approval as applicable.

Prepares/creates Project Status Report and reporting the same in terms of delivery of schedule, quality and scope.

Tracks Project budget and costs as applicable.

Ensures documentation of all risks and issues associated with the Project, working with the Project Team to facilitate resolution and timely escalation as deemed necessary.

Participates and facilitates in relevant meetings, as required.

Ensures compliance with internal and external policies, security and legal regulatory requirements as applicable. Supports audit exercises when needed.

Facilitates post-implementation or similar activity and prepares Close-Out Report as applicable

Ensures of completion of required documents at the end of the project Manages the Scrum process with the coordination of Scrum Team in Agile methodology.

Ensures that the Scrum Team adheres to Scrum theory, practices and rules.

Acts as a servant-leader for the Scrum Team, as applicable.

Facilitates Scrum events (e.g. Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective) as needed and ensures that they are conducted as scheduled, as applicable.

Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree from a college/university or its equivalent qualification in Information Technology.
  2. Must have minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager.
  3. Minimum of 3 years of experience with heavy usage of Project Management and Stakeholder Management skills.
  4. Minimum of 3 years of solid experience in software implementation/development.
  5. Has at least 5 years of experience in managing 3rd parties, vendors and/or service providers.
  6. Strong system implementation background.
  7. Experience in banking/credit card operations environment required.
  8. Knowledge of application design, application integration principles and straight through processes.
  9. Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge and experience of waterfall, agile and other project management methodologies.
  10. Must have experience with Agile Frameworks (Lean/Kanban/Scrum).
  11. Must have experience with Scrum process.
  12. Has broad understanding of the different segments of the banking business and the capacity to relate unit's operations and performance metrics to the overall business of the company.
  13. Candidates who are under the age of 50 are the only ones eligible for endorsement.
  14. Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
