JOB SUMMARY

The HR Benefits and Employee Development Assistant provides administrative and technical support in the implementation of employee benefits and learning and development programs. The position ensures efficient delivery of HR services in accordance with institutional policies, government regulations, and quality standards in support of the University’s commitment to excellence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 A.  Benefits Administration
  • Assists in the administration of government-mandated and company-initiated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, HMO, and other employee benefits)
  • Processes and monitors submission of benefits-related documents and requirements
  • Coordinates with government agencies and external service providers
  • Maintains and updates employee benefits records and database
  • Attends to employee inquiries and concerns related to benefits
 B.  Employee Development
  • Assists in the planning, coordination, and implementation of training, seminars, and development programs
  • Prepares training logistics, materials, and documentation
  • Monitors training attendance and maintains records of employee development activities
  • Assists in the implementation of performance management and employee engagement initiatives
  • Supports evaluation and documentation of training effectiveness
 C.  Records Management and Compliance
  • Ensures proper documentation and safekeeping of HR records in compliance with data privacy standards
  • Prepares reports related to benefits and employee development as required
  • Supports HR initiatives aligned with accreditation requirements (e.g., PACUCOA) and institutional audits
 D.  Other Duties
  • Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by the HR Assistant Director

Qualifications/Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any related field
  • Preferably with at least one (1) year relevant experience in Human Resources
  • Knowledgeable in Philippine labor laws and government-mandated benefits
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • With good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates integrity and ability to handle confidential information
