Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Associate to join our Finance Division at Trulaboratories Corporation. As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, monitoring collections, and ensuring the timely and accurate recording of receivables to support the company’s cash flow and financial health.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Operations:
- Generate and issue accurate invoices based on sales orders, delivery receipts, or service agreements.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and coordinate collection efforts with the sales team.
- Record, reconcile, and apply customer payments accurately in the accounting system.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in coordination with internal teams.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date AR records, including payment schedules and collection notes.
- Prepare aging reports and other AR-related summaries for management review.
Customer Communication & Support:
- Communicate with customers regarding invoice queries, outstanding balances, and payment arrangements.
- Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure smooth billing and collection processes.
- Assist in onboarding new customer accounts and updating customer information in the AR system.
- Provide documentation or clarification to customers as needed to facilitate payment.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and automation of AR processes.
- Support system enhancements and participate in AR-related training or process updates.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and external regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
- Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 AM and Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
