What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Solutions Architect who is charismatic, confident, able to deliver amazing architecture and look for opportunities to attain further competencies. You will work with teams to ensure our offerings align with AWS and AWS funding models.

This person needs to be a self-starter, creative thinker, proactive and enthusiastic. He/she should also be focused on continuous improvement, constantly seeking to learn new things and willing to contribute to a collaborative environment.

• Analyse technical and business requirements
• Run Well Architected reviews with customers and clearly communicating the technical aspects, risks, challenges, and selling points of the solution to stakeholders
• Break Well Architected outcomes into manageable workloads to achieve the best outcome for both the client and our company
• Provide guidance and technical direction to the team
• Assist with Presales activities, meeting with customers, gathering their requirements and designing solutions with them
• Working with team to architect the best designs for customers
• Implementation and documentation of solutions
• Performing migrations from on premise or hosted solutions
• Monitoring of systems and react to rectify system issues
• Escalation path for the service desk engineers
• Mentor and coach team members, and encourage innovative thinking within the team
• Assist CTO with attaining AWS Competencies – e.g. Migration Competency
• Look for opportunities to attain further competencies
• Build strong relationships with AWS
• Understand AWS funding mechanisms and commercial acumen to help our company leverage the funding opportunities for our clients
• Work with teams to ensure our offerings align with AWS and AWS funding models
• Understand the Warrior program design to support our clients. Train Service desk and sales to sell Warrior offering

You’ll be a great fit if:

• You have AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification
• You have at least 2 years of extensive and demonstrated previous experience with solutions architecture, business and systems requirements, and technical design and analysis in a complex and maturing technical environment
• You have advanced understanding of appropriate Solution Architecture frameworks to ensure effective structures and patterns are being utilised to meet business requirements
• You have experience and knowledge of industry standard development methodologies, tools, techniques and design patterns
• You have demonstrated experience in developing solutions using cloud services (including infrastructure) across AWS/Azure stack
• You have demonstrated experience of applying networking and security principles to an environment with multiple domains, designing solutions that are secure and meet business objectives.
• You have Experience in IM&T architecture & design approaches (e.g. concept, logical, physical) and able to apply a pragmatic and agile approach to solving business problems
• You have proven ability to evaluate stakeholder requirements and develop and present solution options (including effort estimates) to senior management and various stakeholders.
• You have excellent communication skills

Please note: This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippines labor laws and employment regulations.
