The Sales Executive for Food Sales Division will play a pivotal part in driving the sales of equipment for Bakery. Your expertise will be instrumental in understanding customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and contributing to the growth of our business within the food processing sector.
This position requires a combination of technical knowledge and sales acumen to build strong relationships with clients, identify opportunities, and deliver effective solutions.
JOB DUTIES:
Sales- Identify target customers based on identified industry segments.
- Generate sales calls and visit existing and potential customers.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations, proof of concepts and any other related demonstrations relevant to sales.
- Perform analyses of existing and potential customers’ needs and offer solutions that address their needs, including submission of the Project Evaluation Form (PEF) and Project Management (PM) Scorecard.
- Prepare and calculate standard offer/quotations based on identified customer needs in line with company’s standards, rules and regulations or as directed and submit for approval. Support the functional manager for complex offers.
- Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions in close coordination with the functional manager and in line with company’s standards, rules and regulations or as directed.
- Contribute necessary information for prompt order registration and commercial handover to local and Procurement Center (PC) order processing.
- Conduct regular sales planning and report it to the functional manager.
- Update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system regularly.
- Cooperate and coordinate with team members and other departments especially Technical Services, Engineering Operations, and sales colleagues from other departments, to offer and execute solutions that fulfil the customer’s needs.
- Keep constantly updated on relevant knowledge, trends, and best practices.
- Forecast, analyze, and report to the functional manager market potentials, trends (innovations), customer needs, interests and problems and appraise customer segmentation and competitor activities including information on cross country investments of customers.
- Plan sales activity based on market analysis.
- Make suggestions for and support the organization of local fairs, seminars, conferences, and market analyses.
- Attend local and international company fairs.
- Make contact and promote good relationships with subject matter experts, key customers, and decision makers.
- Build and maintain strong and sustainable relationships with customers by emphasizing the company’s comprehensive industrial solutions.
- Provide excellent service to customers by giving undivided attention and focus on meeting their needs.
- Find solutions to customer issues and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Anticipate questions, concerns and future issues and provide solutions that will consistently result in repeated business, word of mouth referrals and increased sales.
- Represent the company to the public, key stakeholders, and partners to ensure a good reputation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, with a strong focus on technical products or machinery sales in the Food Industry, at least 1 year of experience Bakery operation-production/Research & Development, Technical sales experience of bakery ingredients is an advantage but not a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Food Technology, Business, or related field.
- Strong understanding of food production processes, particularly Bakery Science.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially in B2B sales environments
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Working well under pressure and working self-reliantly.
