JOB PURPOSE:

The Senior Tax and Reporting Analyst employ analytical and technical skills and introduce innovative solutions that will allow InLife become more agile and achieve operational excellence in meeting its reportorial requirements to regulatory bodies and members.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTIBILITIES:

  • Compliance with Tax and Regulatory Reportorial Requirements
  • Assists in leading relevant cross-functional efforts for the timely completion and delivery of the assigned reportorial requirements and/or assessment of significant changes in reportorial requirements through collaboration with various finance functions, analysis of information gathered, and transformation of information in the required report format by authorities, among others.
  • Engages in discussion with internal and external parties, such as auditors, consultants, and regulators, for their requirements on projects and examinations requiring inputs from the Tax Team and, where necessary, perform an analysis of the requirements of internal and external parties prior to provision.
  • Provides relevant and timely advice to other functions for any queries that relates to tax and regulatory reporting.
  • Engages in learning sessions with other functions to drive awareness on the intricacies of tax and regulatory reporting.
  • Finance Innovation
  • Leads the cross-functional transformation within the finance division considering the business direction and the requirement of both internal and external stakeholders. The accountability entails tasks such as but not limited to the following:
  • Reviewing existing processes of the business unit;
  • Identifying, recommending, and participating in the development of innovative solutions; and
  • Implementing the solutions developed aligning all solutions to the business requirements and considering mandates coming from external stakeholders.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE ROLE:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 3 to 4 years of experience in the field of taxation and financial reporting with a reputable external auditing firm or private practice
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
  • Has a background and experience on tax compliance
  • Possesses updated accounting, auditing, tax, and financial reporting knowledge and awareness on the actual application of such knowledge.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer applications frequently used for processing of financial data
  • Able to harmonize financial reporting and regulatory reporting requirements to prepare and review reports for submission to regulators and adapt to any changes thereto
  • Able to conduct a customer-focused, iterative approach to business practices in solving common organization and customer problems in more innovative ways
  • Must be willing to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa (Hybrid setup)
