About the role
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our dynamic team at INTERACTIVE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE' in Tarlac Central Luzon. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.Your expertise in the automotive trades will be crucial in supporting our operations and contributing to the overall success of our organisation.
What you'll be doing- Diagnose and repair a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues, using your technical expertise to find effective solutions
- Maintain accurate records of all repair and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery, including engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail
- Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in the automotive trades
