We are looking to hire an Accounting Assistant with excellent organizational and analytical skills. Accounting Assistant are expected to be detailed oriented, knowledgeable on statistics, have strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines.

To ensure success, Accounting Assistant should be confident, professional, and meticulous with a keen interest in the cost-efficient operations of the organization. Top candidates will have outstanding presentation and report-writing skills, with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle of construction from receipt of invoices to payment including coding invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approval, and entering the invoices into the accounting system.
  • Ensure all accounts payable policies and procedures are adhered to including related expenses, vendor approval and invoice processing.
  • Responsible for imaging and record retention of all account’s payable documents.
  • Manage vendor relations and build effective partnerships.
  • Partner with Cost Accounting Supervisor to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Department for closing of Purchase Orders and managing vendor accounts with special instructions of payment and advances.
  • Assist team with gathering support for all audits, including pulling of documentation.
  • Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
  • Makes appropriate adjusting entries if deemed necessary
  • Assist in ad hoc projects as needed.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
  • Graduate of BS Accountancy/Financial Management course,
  • Open for Fresh Graduate
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles.
  • Solid cost systems background.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skill
