What is the job?

The Tier 1 Service Desk Specialist focuses on timely issue resolution, accurate documentation, and delivering a high-quality customer support experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provides first-line IT support via desk-side, remote, and local services.
• Troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and workstation issues.
• Logs, tracks, and updates incidents using a ticketing system.
• Performs root-cause analysis and escalates issues as needed.
• Installs, configures, and maintains PCs, peripherals, and basic network access.
• Documents solutions, updates knowledge base, and ensures compliance with policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT support, service desk, or technical support roles.
• Experience handling inbound customer requests or issue resolution.
• Proficient in desktop and workstation support for Windows environments.
• Familiar with ticketing systems and IT service management workflows.
