Caregiver (elderlycare or newborn care)

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Caregiver to provide high-quality care and assistance to Senior individuals and NB babies in a home-based setting. The caregiver will support daily living activities, ensure safety and comfort, and promote physical and emotional well-being for both groups.

Key Responsibilities

Senior Care:

• Assist Senior clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility support, including transfers and light exercises as advised
• Prepare and assist with meals according to dietary needs
• Administer medication or reminders as prescribed (if qualified and authorized)
• Monitor health conditions and report changes to family or healthcare professionals
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment

NB Care:

• Provide full newborn care, including feeding (breast milk or formula), burping, diapering, and bathing
• Monitor baby’s sleep patterns, feeding schedule, and general well-being
• Support proper hygiene and sterilization of baby equipment
• Assist the mother with postnatal care and recovery (if required)
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the newborn

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience in senior care and/or newborn care
• Basic caregiving or healthcare training/certification preferred
• Knowledge of senior safety, infant care, and hygiene standards
• Ability to handle both physical and emotional caregiving demands
• Patient, compassionate, and trustworthy personality
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible schedules
