Hotel and restaurant manager

Job Description

• Supervise all front-of-house and back-of-house operations
• Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards
• Ensure food quality, hygiene, and presentation meet company and regulatory standards
• Manage restaurant finances including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and daily sales reconciliation
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and reduce waste
• Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Develop employee schedules and manage attendance and performance
• Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Coordinate with marketing or head office on promotions, events, and new initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a supervisory role within the food service industry
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Solid understanding of business and financial management
• Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
