Senior Key Account Sales

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Architectural Key account salesperson for key accounts. The Techstone brand is premium coating systems for architectural features in design. This position requires established relationships with real estate developers, architects, and key decision-makers in the construction industry.
This leadership role requires a hands-on approach with strong sales acumen, the ability to manage a team, and the drive to meet and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase market share for Techstone in the Philippines, focusing on both direct sales and distribution channels.
- Distributor Network Setup: Lead the process of identifying, establishing, and nurturing relationships with distributors and DIY centers to expand the availability of Techstone products across various regions.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with real estate developers, architects, contractors, and key stakeholders in the construction industry. Provide tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Sales Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team, setting clear targets and performance expectations. Ensure that the team is equipped to effectively execute sales strategies and achieve goals.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and building materials sector. Work on growing the Techstone brand through new client acquisitions and expanding product penetration in existing markets.
- Market Analysis & Reporting: Monitor sales performance, conduct market research, analyze trends, and prepare sales forecasts and regular reports for senior management.
- CRM & Data Management: Use CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to track leads, monitor sales activities, and maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions. This is a key responsibility in maintaining account records.
- Collaboration with Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and promotional strategies and ensure that product campaigns and events support sales objectives.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest developments in building materials, coatings, and industry trends. Effectively communicate the value and benefits of Techstone products to clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the building materials, coatings, or construction industry. A complete understanding of construction methods and terminology with building construction and design. An architect is preferred as communication between designers and the sales person will be required.
- Industry Contacts: Established network of contacts with real estate developers, architects, contractors, and industry professionals.
- Distributor & DIY Center Setup: Proven experience in setting up and managing distributors and DIY centers, with the ability to develop and grow sales through these channels.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to use these tools to manage leads, track sales progress, and generate reports.
- Computer Literacy: Intermediate and advanced computer literacy is preferred as we rely on online data and integrated systems. The ability to problem solve and maintain organized files.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and lead a team effectively.
- Attributes: Results-oriented, self-motivated, and strategic thinker. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
