Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Perform regular system checks and report anomalies.
- Assist in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Maintain system backups and recovery procedures.
- Coordinate with the IT team for scheduled maintenance.
- Update documentation on system status and incidents.
- Support compliance and security measures.
- Provide on-call support when required.
Competencies / Skills Required:
- Knowledge of server, network, and storage system monitoring.
- Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a high-availability environment.
- Knowledge of security and compliance measures.
- Willingness to work in shifts and provide on-call support.
Key Results or Performance Indicators:
- Consistent monitoring of data center resources.
- Efficient response to system alerts and failures.
- Documentation and reporting of operational activities.
Good to have:
- With working experience on enterprise backup platforms such as Rubrik, Veeam or Cohesity
- With working experience on Network Attached Storage
