Senior Application Support Specialist

Job Description

We're hiring for a Senior Application Support Specialist SQL for one of our top clients in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig. This is a full-time hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 remote) with a mid-shift schedule, offering a monthly salary of PHP 100K130K.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the transition of application features from development to production
• Provide advanced SQL troubleshooting, database performance tuning, and ensure data integrity
• Oversee incident and problem management, including root cause analysis
• Mentor junior and mid-level team members
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for application operations
• Collaborate with dev, infra, and business teams to align support with org goals
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including Operations Enablement Service Catalogue

Required Qualifications (Please confirm each when replying):

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in application support or similar roles
• Strong/expert-level SQL experience (SQL Server, PostgresDB) REQUIRED
• Extensive experience in Incident & Problem Management in enterprise setups
• Proficient in Java and/or Python
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms certification is a plus
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) certifications a plus
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience
