What is the job?

The Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.

Responsibilities:

• Performs month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Manages balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness.
• Reconciles AR and AP subledgers to the general ledger.
• Audits vendor invoices for accuracy, coding, and policy compliance.
• Investigates discrepancies, identifies root causes, and clears historical balances.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve financial issues and improve processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of accounting experience.
• Experience reconciling subledgers (AP/AR) to the general ledger.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis).
