Shipment and Logistics Intern

The Shipment and Logistics Intern will assist the Logistics Coordinator in supporting the day-to-day operations of import and export processes. The intern will gain hands-on experience in shipment documentation, coordination with logistics partners, and compliance with basic customs and trade requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

The intern shall assist in the following:

• Support the coordination of import and export shipments, including scheduling and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation and checking of shipping documents such as:
• Commercial invoices
• Packing lists
• Bills of lading
• Other basic shipment requirements
• Help coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers regarding shipment status and requirements.
• Monitor and track shipments and update internal teams on delivery status.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining shipping records, files, and tracking systems.
• Support internal coordination for order preparation, including checking of documents related to picking, packing, and labeling.
• Help ensure completeness of documentary requirements for shipments.
• Assist in resolving basic shipment concerns (e.g., delays, discrepancies) under supervision.
• Provide support in monitoring Statements of Account (SOA) and basic shipment-related documentation.
• Stay informed on basic customs procedures and logistics processes through guidance and training.
• Perform other administrative or logistics-related tasks as assigned by supervisors.

• Currently taking BS Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any related course
• Basic understanding of logistics or international trade is an advantage
• Willing to learn and be trained
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email)
• Organized and detail-oriented
