About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and results-driven Cost Accounting Senior Manager (CPA) to lead our cost accounting function for a fast-growing restaurant and FMCG business. This role is responsible for overseeing product costing, inventory valuation, cost controls, financial analysis, and process improvements to support operational efficiency and profitability.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in cost accounting within the restaurant, food manufacturing, FMCG, or retail industry, with a strong understanding of inventory management, production costing, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the company's cost accounting operations across multiple business units.
- Develop, review, and maintain standard costing methodologies and product cost structures.
- Analyze manufacturing, commissary, and restaurant costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor inventory valuation, inventory movements, and cost variances.
- Oversee monthly inventory reconciliation and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze cost reports, profitability analysis, and margin reports.
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Production teams to improve cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to production and operating costs.
- Support business expansion initiatives by providing financial insights and cost analysis.
- Mentor and develop the cost accounting team while driving continuous process improvement.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
- At least 8 years of progressive accounting experience, with 3-5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong background in Cost Accounting within Restaurant, FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Retail, or Manufacturing industries.
- Experience handling inventory accounting, standard costing, BOM, variance analysis, and product costing.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Willing to work on-site in Mandaluyong City, Monday to Friday.
