Broker Sales Specialist is responsible for building relationships with insurance brokers to distribute corporate health plans. They manage broker networks, generate sales pipelines, negotiate quotes with actuarial teams, and close lucrative accounts for HMO providers.
Key Responsibilities- Partner Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with independent insurance brokers and agencies to drive account growth.
- Quotation & Proposal: Coordinate with underwriting/actuarial teams to prepare and present competitive healthcare proposals to corporate clients .
- Sales & Negotiation: Guide deals through the pipeline, negotiate pricing and coverage terms, and finalize account awards.
- Account Transitions: Assist with first-base after-sales requirements before handing accounts over to the client management team .
- Bachelor's degree with 1 to 3+ years of experience in corporate sales, business development, or HMO channel management.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare insurance products, corporate benefits, and HMO operational guidelines .
- Excellent relationship building, negotiation, and communication skills to effectively interface with C-level executives and seasoned brokers.
