Credit Investigator
CREDIT INVESTIGATOR
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Credit Investigator to support our credit risk and loan evaluation processes. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough investigations into loan applicants’ backgrounds, verify financial information, and produce accurate reports to aid lending decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Review and assess credit and loan applications.Conduct field investigations, including onsite inspections and interviews with applicants.
Verify personal and financial data through trade check, bank check, employment verification, and collateral inspection.
Examine payment history from previous loans with other institutions.
Prepare Credit Approval Memorandum (CAM) and investigative reports.
Submit reports to credit committee or supervisors in a timely manner.
Communicate findings effectively to internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with company credit policies and applicable regulations.
Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications
College graduate (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred).
Experience: 1–3+ years experience in credit investigation, loan processing, or related field.
Skills:
Strong analytical and investigative skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and sound judgment.
Proficient in preparing reports and summaries.
Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel/perform fieldwork.
