Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Dump Truck Driver to transport materials such as soil, gravel, sand, rocks, construction debris, and other aggregates to and from project sites. The ideal candidate will operate dump trucks safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with company and transportation regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Operate dump trucks to transport construction materials and equipment safely
Load, transport, and unload materials at designated locations
Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
Ensure compliance with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and inspection reports
Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and site personnel regarding schedules and deliveries
Secure loads properly to prevent spills or accidents
Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition
Report mechanical issues, accidents, or delays immediately
Assist with other construction or labor tasks when required
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or appropriate driver’s license required
Proven experience operating dump trucks or heavy vehicles preferred
Knowledge of vehicle safety procedures and road regulations
Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Good driving record with strong safety awareness
Ability to work in varying weather and road conditions
Strong time management and communication skills
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials when necessary
Preferred Skills
Experience in construction, mining, or hauling operations
Familiarity with local routes and job site procedures
Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage
Working Conditions
Outdoor and construction site environments
May require extended hours, weekends, or overtime
Exposure to dust, noise, and changing weather conditions

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications for Dump Truck Drivers
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid professional driver’s license with appropriate restrictions/certifications
At least 1–2 years of experience driving dump trucks or heavy equipment preferred
Good driving record with no major traffic violations
Knowledge of road safety rules and vehicle operation procedures
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments
Ability to perform basic vehicle inspection and maintenance checks
Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness
Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime if needed

Good communication and teamwork skills
