Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Engineer to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of renewable energy and infrastructure projects. This role combines technical engineering, project coordination, and HSES (Health, Safety, Environment, and Security) support, providing exposure across the full project lifecycle—from feasibility and permitting to execution and compliance.

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and technical designs (solar, wind, hydro, etc.)
• Conduct site inspections, surveys, and feasibility assessments
• Assist in evaluating feasibility studies, technical proposals, and design packages
• Participate in technical meetings and provide engineering insights
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety codes, and environmental regulations

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government agencies (DOE, DENR, NGCP, LGUs)
• Support DOE applications (Service Contracts, COA, COCOC, etc.)
• Assist in bid preparation, tender evaluation, and contractor coordination
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and milestones
• Conduct due diligence and validation of technical submissions
• Support budgeting, costing, and technical evaluations

• Ensure compliance with HSES policies, standards, and regulations
• Assist in developing safety procedures, checklists, and guidelines
• Conduct site inspections and recommend improvements on safety and environmental practices
• Support incident reporting, documentation, and closure tracking
• Assist in securing permits, clearances, and regulatory compliance
• Help prepare required reports such as SMR, CMR, and safety reports

• Maintain organized project documentation, records, and databases
• Prepare reports, technical memos, and presentations
• Ensure proper filing and archiving of project and compliance documents
• Track permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience (renewable energy/infrastructure is a plus)
• Licensed Engineer is an advantage but not required
• Knowledge of DOE permitting and environmental compliance is a plus
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office
• Familiar with MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills
• Willing to travel for site assignments nationwide
